If you have no idea who I am or what The Abundant Co. is, let me introduce you to a very imperfect community. The Abundant Co was started by me, Addison, in 2023 after I survived anorexia nervosa. For much of my early teen years I struggled with body image and identity. It wasn't until my life was threatened that I realized there was much more to life than trying to fit into the smallest pair of jeans.
After I gave my life to Christ at the age of 14, I began the journey of uncovering the ugliness of the eating disorder that seemed to have been stuffed away. I started the process of writing a memoir to capture the way God turned that ugliness into righteousness.
In that process of writing, the Lord touched my heart with the word "abundance." I knew I wanted to share more of my story, but I wasn't sure how. A podcast seemed too daugnting, so the Lord sent me and lead me to start "It's Abundance The Podcast." Funny how He works like that, right?
I then published my book in December of 2023, and started The Abundant Co. as a place for teens, young adults, older women, and all of God's children to join in community to uncover the truth about the overflow of love that He has for us!
John 10:10 "the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that you would have life and life abundantly."
Now here we are. I simply couldn't be more excited to begin the journey with Fullness as another vessel for God's glory to be shown.
With personal stories, struggles, and lessons i'm learning, as well as YOUR testimonies; I know that the Lord is going to show up and shape us into the sons and daughters He has created us to be!
